National Counsellors Day
27 October 2026 marks the inaugural National Counsellors Day, an opportunity to acknowledge the important role that counsellors play in our communities and across the mental health sector. Every day, counsellors provide individuals with safe, non-judgemental spaces to explore their challenges and achieve positive outcomes.
This year’s theme ‘Recognising Real impact: Supporting Australians to Thrive’ asks us to acknowledge the everyday difference that counsellors are making in Australia.
